It only took a thousand years for Kimchi to make its television premiere. Thanks to PBS and Marja and Jean-Georges Vongerichten. The Kimchi Chronicles is a 13-part TV series set to air in New York (PBS) on May 8th. Mrs. Marja Vongerichten (wife of the the famous New York based chef Jean Georges Vongerichten) will be the host of the show. The Kimchi Chronicles explores Korean cuisine with visits to restaurants, markets, and home kitchens. Not only will this series be a introduction to the very essence of Korean cuisine, but truly reveal the secrets of Korean cuisine at it's best. With the globalization of Korean food, this series will give viewers a look into the tradition and culture of Korean cuisine.
